As a cardio-junkie and marathon runner, I HATE strength training. It’s not for me, despite it being a really important component of cross training and staying healthy and injury-free. I found Warrior’s Playground in August, and started with their cardio strength classes because they essentially tricked me into enjoying strength training. I’ve since moved on to incorporating the pure strength-focused classes into my routine. This is to say, I’ve grown to LOVE this place and how strong it’s made me. I really believe that because of the functional strength exercises that are used in the classes, I’ve been able to race my best without injury. I’d recommend this place HIGHLY to anyone looking to get stronger, but also to the runners and triathletes out there who view strength training as a chore. Take the leap, try some classes, and have fun actually strength training!
